The California Rodeo Salinas will take place July 16-19, 2026, with two nights and two matinees (daytime) performances.


Rodeo tickets are on sale now in-person and online. The prices go up by $5 per ticket on Monday, July 13th.

The California Rodeo Salinas is one of the top 15 professional rodeos in the US out of over 600, and the largest rodeo in California. With over 115 years of tradition and a little bit of something for everyone, it's an event you don't want to miss.

Not only are the top cowboys and cowgirls featured in the arena and on the track, but there are food and shopping vendors, saloons, and more. The whole family will enjoy this community event.

We will also feature performances by Rodeo Clown John Harrison and World-Famous Charro & Rope Artist Tomas Garcilazo each day.

We have fireworks after the 6 pm performances on Thursday night & Friday night performances. The Saturday & Sunday performances are MATINEES and start at 1:15 pm.


Performance Times - 2 Nights & 2 Days of Rodeo

Thursday, July 16th: Bucking Cancer Night - Gates open at 4 pm, Grand Entry at 6 pm, Rodeo 6:30 pm, ends at approximately 10:00 pm*

Friday, July 17th: Ag Appreciation Night - Gates open at 4 pm, Grand Entry at 6 pm, Rodeo 6:30 pm, ends at approximately 10:00 pm*

Saturday, July 18th: Salute to Military Day - Gates open at 11 am, Grand Entry at 1:15 pm, Rodeo 2:00 pm, ends at approximately 5:45 pm*

Sunday, July 19th: Crown Royal Day of Champions - Gates open at 11 am, Grand Entry at 1:15 pm, Rodeo at 2:00 pm, ends at approximately 5:15 pm*

Venue & Parking Info

The Salinas Sports Complex is an outdoor, open-air venue with metal grandstands (seats have backs).

Parking is $30 per vehicle. Exact change in cash is preferred, but credit cards will also be accepted at each gate.

Parking gates open 1 hour before the gates to the events open.

There is no re-entry.
