Tomas Garcilazo is a third-generation Charro and internationally acclaimed horseman and rope artist, dedicated to preserving and sharing Mexico’s National Sport, La Charrería. Born in Mexico City, Tomas grew up immersed in the rich traditions of Charro culture and has spent his life showcasing its artistry through elite horsemanship and intricate maguey rope work.
A four-time PRCA Specialty Act of the Year, Tomas has performed around the world, including appearances on Broadway, at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo—where he has been a featured act for over 25 years—and for audiences at the White House and across Europe, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. He is also the winner of the inaugural season of Go Big Show on TBS.
Now based in Stephenville, Texas, Tomas continues to captivate audiences at rodeos and equine events worldwide, serving as a proud ambassador of Charrería and Western heritage.
