Next week is Big Week which means the California Rodeo Association is bringing many events to town and you can save money on a few of them. The California Rodeo Salinas starts Thursday, July 18th and ends on Sunday, July 21st. General admission ticket prices are $7 for children (ages 2-12) and $15 for adults. Gates open over 2 hours before each performance begins with many areas of entertainment open early, such as the McDonald’s Kids Corral which is complimentary with an admission ticket, shopping, a live band, food vendors and more. Gates open at 4pm and performances start at 6pm on Thursday, July 18th and Friday, July 19th and gates open at 10am with performances starting at 1:15pm on Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st. Though ticket prices are affordable, many discounts can be found to save some money for shopping or another activity of choice.
Wrangler is offering free vouchers valid for all four days of the Rodeo July 18th-21st with a $50 purchase of Wrangler products at participating local retailers (while supplies last).
Coca Cola is offering $5.00 General Admission tickets on Thursday, July 18th if you bring an empty 12 ounce can or empty 20 ounce bottle of select Coca Cola products to the ticket office at 1034 N. Main Street after 4pm that day. Valid Thursday, July 18th only.
Save some bucks by bringing your ticket stub from the Wednesday, July 17th Big Week Professional Bull Riding, presented by Salinas Valley Ford, to the ticket office on Thursday, July 18th and receive a $5.00 General Admission ticket. This $10 savings is brought to you by Mission Linen and Uniform Supply.
Tickets are available for purchase for all four days of the Rodeo at Salinas, Sand City and Gilroy Costco locations for just $19.99 for two General Admission tickets (a savings of $10.01).
Salute to Military Day is Saturday, July 20th and active Military and Veterans with identification will receive free entry (General Admission tickets) into the California Rodeo, a small way to say thank you for their generous service.

During the Professional Bull Riding July 17th and the California Rodeo Salinas July 18th-21st the box office will close approximately 45 minutes before each Rodeo performance ends.
