📍 WHERE: Track Area (north end of the west grandstands)
👧👦 WHO: Children ages 3–8

⏰ Register between 4:00–4:30 PM at the TRACK GATE
👨‍👩‍👧 A parent or guardian must be present at registration and during the event.

➡️ Bring your own stick horse!
➡️ Participants will be grouped by age:

🏆 Winners (1st place male & female in each group) will receive an official California Rodeo Salinas belt buckle!

🎉 Don’t miss this fun and festive Big Week tradition just for the little cowboys and cowgirls!

🧒 Participants must be 3 to 8 years old to compete.
🪪 Winners must provide proof of age.
🐴 Stick horses are required — each child must bring their own to participate.
🏇 Children must ride their stick horse for the entire race.
🏁 Judges’ decisions are final.
📝 A parent or guardian must sign a release form on race day and stay with their child at all times.
