The California Rodeo Salinas is big on
tradition. One of the most recognizable
marketing pieces used to promote this signature event is the yellow bumper
sticker printed annually with the logo and dates of the Rodeo. They can be
spotted on cars, horse trailers, in windows of businesses and more. In recent
years, fans were encouraged to take the bumper sticker with them during their
travels, snap photos and submit them to the California Rodeo. The stickers have
shown up around the globe: Mexico, Australia and Europe are only a few of the
places they have appeared.
The contest is back for 2015. Submit your

for a chance to win an 8 gigabyte, 7 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab4 donated by Best
Buy. The California Rodeo Salinas’ Marketing Committee will vote on the best
photo and choose a winner. The contest is open now through June 5th.
The winner will be notified by June 12th.
Bumper Stickers can be obtained for free at
the California Rodeo Salinas Office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas Monday
through Friday from 9am to 5pm (closed for lunch on Fridays) or by visiting an
Oil Can Henry’s location in Salinas, Soquel or Watsonvillle*. Non-locals can
purchase bumper stickers at www.carodeo.com for $1.
