Gold Star Buick GMC will present the Central Coast Motorsports Spectacular on Sunday August 17th. Tickets are on sale now at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas. Ticket prices are $10 for children ages 2-12, $20 for adults and $25 for box seats for all ages. Visit the Box Office Monday-Friday between 10am and 6pm, call 800-549-4989 or order your tickets online at The Salinas Sports Complex can be your final stop on the summer fun bucket list with non-stop motorsports action as Monster Trucks and Motocross Jumpers join the Truck and Tractor Pulls to entertain the crowd. The gates open at noon with motorsports action starting at 2pm that day.

Coors is sponsoring the Monster Truck event with eight Monster Trucks competing in the arena full of crushed cars and dirt ramps. Seven of the eight trucks have been announced: Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, The Patriot, Tropical Thunder, Obsessed, Wrong Way Rick and Air Borne Ranger. The Motocross Jumpers, sponsored by Drew-Massa Transportation, will take jumps off of ramps that are over ten feet tall and fly at least 90 feet through the air hitting tricks before they land their jumps. There will be four motorcycle jumpers this year versus three in 2013. Truck and Tractor Pulls will feature different classes of trucks and tractors showcasing their horsepower as they pull a two-ton sled across the dirt floor; the pulls are sponsored by The Laurel Inn Motel & Conference Center. Central Coast Sign Factory is also a sponsor of the Central Coast Motorsports Spectacular.

There will be a pit party on Saturday August 16th from 12 to 5pm. Fans can check out monster trucks up close and get driver autographs between 2 and 4pm. There will also be a ride truck, Wheels of Freedom, available; rides are $5 each. Come hungry on Sunday to enjoy the food vendors on the mid-way before you take your seats to take in the show. There will be an autograph party immediately following the event near the cowboy statue at the south end of the complex on the grassy area.
