The Salinas Sports Complex Box Office opens for the 2014 season on Monday March 31st at 10am. The California Rodeo Salinas will celebrate 104 years of tradition offering all day entertainment at affordable prices. Children ages 2-12 general admission or reserved grandstand tickets are only $7*. Adult general admission grandstand tickets are $13* and reserved grandstand tickets are $20* each. Call the Box Office for information about season tickets which include the same seats for all four days of the Rodeo. The Rodeo features non-stop action as events take place simultaneously in the arena and on the track. The track features John Harrison as the Clown Act this year along with the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls performing trick riding stunts and, back for the second year with one additional bike, Cowboy Kenny’s Steel Rodeo Tour-three motocross jumpers performing daring jumps to entertain crowds of all ages. There will also be fan favorite events like mutton busting-kids ages 4-7 riding sheep-and barrel racing in addition to many other events on the track. The arena showcases traditional rodeo events like bull riding, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding and more. Gates open at 4pm on Thursday July 17th and Friday July 18th with the show starting at 6pm each night and 10am on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th with the show starting at 1:15pm daily. There is plenty to do before or after the show starts with a midway full of food, shopping and activities.

The Professional Bull Riding Touring Pro Division event features some of the most talented bull riders who travel around the country competing every weekend. Grandstand tickets for Wednesday July 16th start at $10* for children ages 2-12 and are $25* or $35* depending on the row for adults; box seats are $55* for each seat regardless of age. The gates open at 5pm and the show starts at 7pm.

Country Superstar Brad Paisley will be live in concert Friday July 11th at the Salinas Sports Complex. Gates open at 5pm and music starts at 7pm with opening acts Charlie Worsham and Leah Turner. Grandstand and Party Zone tickets are still available for $25* and $65* respectively. Listen to songs by all performers at The Box Office had opened briefly earlier this winter for a special on sale event for the concert tickets, but you can once again walk up to purchase tickets starting on March 31st.

The Monster Jam is a day full of giant trucks free styling and racing in the arena, jumping over demolished cars and more.
