The 16th Annual Professional Bull Riding BlueDEF Velocity Tour event, presented by Salinas Valley Ford, bucks into the Salinas Sports Complex on July 20, 2016. Gates open at 5pm and bull riding action starts at 7pm. Tickets are available at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas from 10am to 6pm for walk up and phone orders (800-549-4989) Monday-Sunday and at tickets.com twenty four hours a day. Tickets range from $10 for children ages 2-12 to $55 for box seats. Ticket sales are up from last year and the event has sold out for the past two years, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon.
The Salinas BlueDEF tour stop is popular with the riders as well as the fans. Fabiano Vieira, currently ranked number 3 in the PBR World Standings is set to ride here along with Shane Proctor, ranked 7th and the current California Rodeo Salinas defending bull riding champion, Reese Cates, the defending Salinas PBR Champion and Mike Lee, ranked 12th on the Built Ford Tough Series tour, a two-time Salinas PBR Champion and past PBR World Champion. A total of 10 bull riders that will compete in Salinas are currently ranked in the top 35 of the PBR Built Ford Tough World Standings:

The night will be full of talented riders, rank bulls, shopping, food and more on the grounds. The Coors Banquet Bull Xing Cantina will be open 5pm to 1am and will feature a DJ followed by live music by The Courtney Lynn Band from 9pm-12:30am.
