On Saturday, July 18th the California Rodeo will host Salute to Military Day at the Rodeo and include the Wrangler National Patriot initiative as part of that day. Active military and Veterans can receive free tickets for entry into the Rodeo through VetTix or discounted tickets through GOVX. Don't miss the grand entry where Guido Davis will parachute into the rodeo arena with a giant American flag to kick off the rodeo performance.

Wrangler is proud of the Wrangler® National Patriot™ Program, created to provide funding and support for America's wounded and fallen soldiers and their families. This program is modeled after Wrangler’s Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign, which raised awareness and funds for breast cancer research and ensured the money stayed in local Rodeo communities.

The California Rodeo Salinas supports the WNPP and is honored to donate funds generated by the program to Monterey Bay Veterans, Inc., a local charity doing GREAT things to help Wounded Warriors and Veterans. 2026 will be the 16th year the California Rodeo has participated in the Wrangler National Patriot Program and donated money to the Monterey Bay Veterans, a charity founded in Monterey, California, and recognized nationally for providing marine rehabilitation through fishing trips for wounded warriors and veterans. The California Rodeo Salinas has helped to raise over $48,000 for the Monterey Bay Veterans in the past fourteen years, and Wrangler donated an additional $5,000 directly to MBV for their dive boat. Please click on the links below to learn more about the dive boat and other MBV accomplishments.
