Saddle Up for Fun at the First-Ever Junior Rodeo!

Howdy, young cowboys and cowgirls! Get ready to lasso some excitement at the inaugural Junior Rodeo, happening on Sunday, June 9th at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, CA. Brought to you by MYCars.com and hosted by the California Rodeo Salinas, this event is all about celebrating our Western heritage and nurturing the next generation of rodeo stars.

Event Highlights:

Date: Sunday, June 9th
Location: Salinas Sports Complex, 1034 N. Main St., Salinas, CA
Time: Check-in from 7:30 am to 8:30 am; competitions start at 9 am
Attire: Every contestant must be in western attire, including a cowboy hat. Helmets are allowed.

Ages 10-13 (Boys): Steer Riding, Chute Dogging, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping
Ages 14-18 (Girls): Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping
Ages 14-18 (Boys): Wild Beef Ride, Chute Dogging, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping

Pens will be available upon arrival for $20 per pen. The Barn Office will be open Saturday, June 8th at 12pm.
