Mutton Busting

The mutton busting event at the California Rodeo is a crowd pleaser and takes place on the track daily. Young buckaroos ride sheep in front of our crowd hoping to make the best ride and come back on Sunday to compete for the championship belt buckle.

DETAILS:
Children ages 4-7 with a maximum weight of 60 pounds are eligible to ride.
Must be within age/weight limits on day of ride.
The entry fee is $50.00 and includes a Rodeo ticket for the rider and 1 adult for the day they are drawn to ride.

Mandatory:
Rodeo supplied helmet & vest must be worn to ride (NO EXCEPTIONS).
A waiver will be signed by parent(s)/guardian(s) on day of ride.
No spurs allowed.
