Mutton Busting

The mutton busting event at the California Rodeo is a crowd pleaser and takes place on the track daily. Excited little buckaroos ride sheep in front of our crowd hoping to make the best ride and come back on Sunday to compete for the championship belt buckle.

DETAILS:
Children ages 4-7 with a maximum weight of 60 pounds are eligible to ride.
Must be within age/weight limits on day of ride.
The entry fee is $40.00

Mandatory:
Rodeo supplied helmet & vest must be worn to ride (NO EXCEPTIONS).
A waiver will be signed by parent(s)/guardian(s) on day of ride.

Filling out an entry form does not guarantee a spot to ride.

Entries due by midnight on June 9, 2022. Riders will be drawn on Friday, June 10, 2022.
