The California Rodeo Salinas will take place July 21st - 24th, 2022 with two night and two day performances.

The California Rodeo Salinas is one of the top 10 professional rodeos in the US out of over 600 and the largest rodeo in California. With over 110 years of tradition and a little bit of something for everyone, it's an event you don't want to miss.

Not only are the top cowboys and cowgirls featured in the arena and on the track, but there is food, shopping, saloons and more. The whole family will enjoy this affordable community event.

Performance Times - 2 Nights & 2 Days of Rodeo

Thursday, July 21st: Gates open at 4pm, Grand Entry at 6pm, Rodeo 6:30pm, ends at approximately 9:45pm

Friday, July 22nd: Gates open at 4pm, Grand Entry at 6pm, Rodeo 6:30pm, ends at approximately 9:45pm

Saturday, July 23rd: Gates open at 10am, Grand Entry at 1:15pm, Rodeo 1:45pm, ends at approximately 5:15pm

Sunday, July 24th: Gates open at 10am, Grand Entry at 1:15pm, Rodeo 1:45pm, ends at approximately 5:00pm

Slack Times

Slack is where the overflow of contestants in the timed events compete.

Arena slack will include team roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping and breakaway roping. The order will be breakaway roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and team roping.

Venue & Parking Info

The Salinas Sports Complex is an outdoor, open-air venue with metal grandstands (seats have backs).

Parking is $10 CASH ONLY per vehicle. Parking gates open 1 hour before the gates to the events open.
