The Farmer 500 race is presented by Braga Fresh Family Farms and features four banger cars racing around the track, sometimes swapping paint as they run into each other. These four cylinder race cars are customized for dirt track racing with the ultimate goal being the last man (car) that is still running after multiple laps around the track. In 2017 at the CCMS, one car rolled over and kept on going! It’s highly competitive, with many drivers being locals in search of bragging rights, and great watching. The top 3 places receive cash prizes.
The Truck and Tractor Pulls are presented by Ace High Designs and are made up of various classes based on weight: 4,500, 5,500, and 6,500 pounds. There are gas and diesel classes and also multi-engine tractor classes. The truck that pulls a weighted sled the longest distance is the winner. Winners in each class will receive either a trophy or cash prize.
The Monster Trucks are presented by Coors and they partake in freestyle, racing, wheelie and donut competitions. All except the racing class are scored events. Four lucky fans are selected to be the judges. The overall winner at the end of the day gets bragging rights as the Central Coast Motorsports Spectacular champion.
