The California Rodeo Salinas just finished a
project that was first talked about during the Centennial Celebration in 2010
when we started our Hall of Fame. Currently, the Hall of Fame inductees are
honored each year at a ceremony and luncheon and their photos are on display as
a dvd loop in our museum. Very soon, these inductees who have all been a vital
part of the California Rodeo’s history and legacy will be honored on a
permanent wall behind the museum here on the grounds. The Wall of Fame is
130 feet long and almost 8 feet tall.
Thank you to the Gheen family for
their generous donation to get the project started; we will need funds to
complete the plaques that honor the inductees and tell their stories. This
project will be a great addition to the grounds and a permanent attraction for
Hall of Members to be memorialized.
Please click the button below to DONATE to this project and help honor the legends that have built the California Rodeo Salinas! We need to raise the funds for the plaques to decorate and fill our wall and tell the stories of the inductees.
