
SALINAS, CA – August 9, 2007, The Salinas Sports Complex will be rocking
on Friday August 10th as POISON, a rock band that has sold over 25 million records world-wide, headlines on the largest stage ever played on at the complex. POISON was most popular in the 80s and 90s and recently, lead vocalist Bret Michaels has been seen on VH1's Reality Show Rock of Love. Fans at the concert Friday night will get great rock music, pyrotechnics and more.
Dirty Penny, a local band from Santa Cruz will play on the lawn in front of the Salinas Sports Complex when gates open at 5pm. Other opening bands include Veins of Jenna, The Outsiders and RATT.
Tickets are on sale at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office from 12 to 6pm today and 12 to 9pm Friday August 10th. Tickets are also available at Tickets.com until midnight on August 9th. General Admission tickets are $16.50, Box Seats are $29.50 and Floor Seats (standing only) are $39.50. There is a $3.50 service fee.
