Rodeo kicks off 2012 Wrangler National Patriot Program in November
Proceeds Generated to Benefit Monterey Bay Veterans, Inc. in 2012
SALINAS, CA November 7, 2011 - The California Rodeo Salinas is excited to once again partner with sponsor restaurants Casa Sorrento Pizzeria and The Growers Pub on November 15th and 16th as they host Patriot Nights at their restaurants. 20% of the evening's proceeds will benefit the Monterey Bay Veterans, Inc. as part of the Wrangler National Patriot Program. 2012 will be the 2nd year the California Rodeo is participating in the Wrangler National Patriot Program and donating money to the Monterey Bay Veterans, a charity started in Monterey, California, and recognized nationally for providing marine rehabilitation by way of fishing trips for wounded warriors and veterans. Since November is a month to honor Veterans on Veteran's Day, we encourage all Monterey Bay Veterans and California Rodeo supporters to show up on November 15th at The Grower's Pub between 5:30 and 8:30pm and on November 16th between 5 and 8pm at Casa Sorrento Pizzeria to raise funds for this great cause. The Rodeo was able to donate over $2,500 to MBV in 2011 after 2 fundraising nights at these great sponsor's establishments and through donations during the Rodeo where Monterey Bay Veterans volunteers ran a handicap shuttle service.
