Mindy Kathleen Garrison
Born and raised in Visalia, California, Mindy Garrison enters as Miss Woodlake Lions Club. The 20 year-old daughter of David and Dawn Garrison currently attends the College of the Sequoias and plans to transfer to Loma Linda University in pursuit of a career in Radiology specializing in ultrasound. Mindy has recently become involved with the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls, a local trick riding and trick roping group. Starting out in the saddle as a young girl, she now enjoys the challenging practices, endless learning experiences, and taking part in rodeo performances with the group. Outside of the arena Mindy stays active by participating in soccer, tennis, family camping trips and the art of baking.

Brittany Hart
Miss Clovis Kiwanis, Brittany Hart is the 21 year-old daughter of Wayne and Judy Hart of Madera, California. She currently attends Reedley College's Willow and International Campus majoring in Nursing with aspirations of becoming a member of rodeo's Justin Sports Medicine Team. Outside of school Brittany stays busy riding her registered APHA horse, tending to her herd of 50 sheep and helping the Liberty High School FFA sheep division. She also includes baking, photography, sewing and a new found passion for creating rodeo artwork to her busy schedule. Brittany enjoys sharing her passion for rodeo, its lifestyle and its values with youth and others in hopes of preserving the western way of life.

Leah Dawn Herron
Leah Herron of Springville, California, enters as Miss Springville Rodeo. The 20 year-old daughter of Charles and Cindy Dabney attends Porterville College and plans to transfer to Fresno State University to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing. She has won numerous awards showing sheep through 4-H and FFA, and her love for riding horses began as a young girl in her 4-H club. Leah is a member of the Sierra Junior Rodeo Association, participating in all of the rodeo events. As this year's Pee-Wee Director for the Sierra Junior Rodeo Association, she feels it is important to donate her time helping our youth. Leah also enjoys riding pack horses in the High Sierra Mountains and working on her family's ranch.
Claire Plemmons
Salinas cowgirl, Claire Plemmons, enters as Miss Monterey County Ag Education. The 21 year-old daughter of Brent and Julie Plemmons is finishing pre-requisite courses for a career in Nursing and plans to apply to nursing schools while continuing her studies towards a Bachelors Degree. Training and showing her two horses keeps Claire very busy. She has won several prizes in various equine competitions and is focusing on Ranch Horse Versatility this year. Claire's first job was with Monterey County Agricultural Education and she has been a volunteer and supporter of the organization ever since by helping at events that teach youth about Salinas Valley's agriculture. In addition she enjoys taking pictures, baking, music and art.
Brittany Voss
From Clements, California, 21 year-old Brittany Voss enters our contest as Miss Rowell Ranch Rodeo. The daughter of Drexel and Melinda Gaw, Brittany is committed to her dream of becoming a large animal Veterinarian specializing in equine orthopedic surgery. As a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo she has taken advantage of many opportunities giving her hands on experience while volunteering in numerous aspects of animal agricultural. Competing in equine competitions since the age of 15, she has won numerous awards in English and Western riding. Brittany is also dedicated to preserving land for agriculture and equestrian use. Her enthusiasm for life and dedication to academics is evident by her hard work towards all of her commitments.
