Purpose:
Los Amigos del Rodeo is an elite group that was developed by the Rodeo's Board of Director's as a method of gaining more support for the California Rodeo Salinas. The California Rodeo is a not-for-profit organization that gives back over $200,000 to the local community each year despite the growing costs of maintaining the Salinas Sports Complex on an annual basis. The Los Amigos del Rodeo membership funds will provide a financial vehicle for facility improvements throughout the Complex.
Membership:
Exclusive and limited to 85 memberships.
Memberships are non-transferable.
Cost:
$1,500 (one membership is good for one couple or two people).
Money will be kept as restricted fund status and can only be used for projects designated by the Los Amigos del Rodeo members. The project options will be submitted to the club on an annual basis from the Rodeo's Executive Committee.
Benefits:
Access to Special VIP Area (Rodeo Room) for 90 minutes prior to and one hour after the four Rodeo Performances.
The VIP area will serve a special meal each day and the bar will offer high end liquor and wine.
Two seats for each Rodeo Performance
A custom designed and numbered buckle for men and a custom designed pendant or buckle for women.
After the initial year, members will select an item for that year (i.e. jacket , shirt, hat).
Annual banquet/event to consider and fund facility projects recommended by the Rodeo's Executive Committee.
