Nomination forms now being accepted for 2012 Rodeo Hall of Fame
3rd Annual Induction to take place July 19, 2012
SALINAS, CA February 14, 2012 - The California Rodeo Salinas' Hall of Fame, started in 2010 as part of the Centennial Celebration, is now in its third year. Modeled after some other prestigious rodeo's Hall of Fames, Salinas is proud to honor legends in the sport of rodeo and contributors to our great event on an annual basis with a luncheon and induction that takes place during Big Week. These heroes live on in our museum and hearts and become a permanent piece of the Rodeo's history. The California Rodeo Salinas Hall of Fame strives to preserve the heritage, history and traditions of the California Rodeo Salinas along with showcasing individuals, organizations and livestock whose distinctive contributions to the California Rodeo Salinas have helped keep the traditions of the West alive.
Categories developed for nominees include Livestock, Contestants, Contract Personnel, Committee Members (including Directors, Past Presidents), Staff, Supporters and Notables.

An induction luncheon will be held on Thursday July 19, 2012. Ticket prices are $30 per person and include lunch during the induction ceremony; the Luncheon will take place on the Director's Patio at the Salinas Sports Complex 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The California Rodeo Salinas will take place July 19-22, 2012. The California Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization that strives to preserve and promote the traditions of the California Rodeo Salinas and the West. We support the community and other non-profit organizations through the staging of the annual California Rodeo Salinas and other year round operations of the Salinas Sports Complex. Through donation of our facility, vending and fundraising opportunities during Rodeo and other events, the California Rodeo Association returns over $200,000 annually to local non-profits.
