DECORATE YOUR WINDOWS FOR THE 101ST CALIFORNIA RODEO
The California Rodeo Salinas is once again continuing the Big Week tradition of the window decorating contest, but with a new modern flair! This year, the contest will take place with the help of the social network, Facebook. To enter, rather than fill out a form, participating businesses can simply upload a picture of their business's window to the California Rodeo Facebook page. In the past years there have been many great local businesses that have joined in on the spirit of Big Week and participated in the window decorating contest. The California Rodeo Association challenges all businesses to fill their windows with their best western-inspired creative decor and join the contest. Feel free to go with the Tough Enough to Wear Pink theme or get patriotic and support the Wrangler National Patriot Program. General Western designs and themes are always encouraged. The photo with the most 'likes' wins. The winner will be announced at the rodeo on Saturday July 23rd, along with a press release and updates on Facebook, Twitter and on carodeo.com. The winner will be announced on July 14th. A printable PDF can be downloaded at carodeo.com under Community and Window Decorating with the rodeo dates and logo on it. This must be included in your window to be eligible to win the contest.
